Forgetting the 'getting back up' part...

Here’s the thing, when you fall, and yes, I don’t say “if you fall” because we all do, don’t stay down. When we find ourselves soiled with sin, we hide-same as Adam and Eve in the garden. Our human instinct is that we are not worthy to be around God in our present state. Sure, that’s true. But that’s where the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood comes in. Especially when we messed up big time, we need to go into God’s presence and ask for His forgiveness. And we stand on the promises that Jesus has paid it all for us on the cross. So we don’t have to be good enough. As a matter of fact, until we get into heaven, we will fall short. Romans 3:23 says “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”. What the evil one is trying to do is keep it that way. So when you have the inclination to stay away from reading God’s word, listening to godly music, attend church or small group, you can be assured that you’re not acting from a godly standpoint. God wants us to be reconciled with Himself. So, when you fall, get back up again as the Audio Adrenaline song says.
