Optical Illusion

The grass is NOT greener on the other side, it’s an optical illusion. It may be due to the lighting conditions, which may be staged just right by a lighting specialist trying to sell you on the other side. Or it could be that the other side gets fertilized more…and we all know what THAT means.
God wants us to be content with what we have. How do I know that? Well, just read some of those ten things He told us to obey called the Ten Commandments. You know, all that coveting stuff and the not putting any other god before the one true God. Important stuff! Putting anyone or anything before our relationship with the almighty is spiritual adultery. I just listened to a great sermon about that a moment ago here:

We should not puff ourselves up to think that we have to fill our “needs” or “wants” some other way than through the providence of God the father. He is the ultimate go-to person for absolutely everything we could ever need or want in this and the coming life. I’m totally sold on that idea.
God is unequivocally awe inspiring, yet gentle, patient and loving.
