This verse always gets to me. Love should be lived out, there should be a difference seen in us. We should not amass wealth for ourselves, but be content with sharing what we have.
I read earlier about Robert Laidlaw “He began giving ten percent of his income early in his business life. Later, however, he entered this into his journal: "September 1919, age twenty-five. I have decided to change my earlier graduated scale, and start now giving half (fifty percent) of all my earnings." (Hillman, Os. (08/10). Business as ministry. TGIF Today God Is First Volume 1). What if all of us did that? How would the world be a different place? There are so many people around us with very specific needs, and our eyes, hearts and wallets are closed. God please soften our hearts and let us love our neighbors as ourselves.

Amen!! Amen!! So many of us go around with our heads in clouds not even noticing the condition of others or even try to assist with our brothers and sisters.
