Truths

Be prepared to be tested on the truths that God revealed to you. Seems to be the case that when spiritual truths become so clear to you that you can’t help but glorify God for it, they are tested right away. If this newly acquired knowledge holds true in good times, how much more true is it when the chips are down? When you are the in the valley of Baca, and the tears flow? When you are at wits end, and have nowhere else to turn but to God. He does not let anything enter our lives that he has not already approved. We should not flinch. Allow your gaze to continue to be fixed on him. God is God. His nature never changes. The truths contained within the Bible are unchanging. Regardless if life doesn’t make sense to you or if you feel that it is unfair. God should always get the glory, regardless of our circumstances. God is love. He always has our best in mind. God is our source. When we feel weak, confused, forsaken or hurt, He is the source of strength, wisdom, love and comfort to us. Every good and perfect thing comes from above. We are already equipped with exactly what we need to make it through life. Even the tough times. Praising God, even in the storms of life. Especially then!
