Devine hug

There are days when we may feel alone, ignored or forsaken. It maybe due to circumstances beyond our control, or self-induced. But the longing to be accepted and loved unconditionally is ingrained in human beings. We need to belong, we need to be loved and accepted. During those times we need to remind ourselves of the most intimate of all relationships that exists: Our relationship with the heavenly father. If we have been made right with him through the forgiveness of our sin through the redemptive power of the cross, we know that we can always run into our daddy's arms. They are always wide open, longing to hold us and comfort us. This kind of completely unconditional love is not something we can grasp. But we can enjoy the devine hug nonetheless.
